An ash scattering at sea ceremony typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours total: Short safety briefing before departure, 30–40 minutes outbound, 30–40 minutes at the scattering spot, and 30–40 minutes returning to the harbor.

Are there environmental rules?

Yes. Please use biodegradable materials only. Avoid plastic or non-decomposable containers. Eco-friendly options like the Eco Water Urn, bamboo scattering urn, ice urn, or paper-based urns all dissolve naturally without harming marine life.

Can family members attend the ceremony?

Yes, ceremonies can include family and friends. Please confirm group size when booking.

We can reschedule your ceremony at no extra cost if weather or ocean conditions are unsafe.
